The key thing about this is not the story itself but the rate at which stories like this are flooding in. Rapid advances on almost every front continue to bombard us.
Speaking of that, when I say "almost every front" even the exceptions are starting to be note worthy. For instance, why do we not yet have streaming video phone technology every where? All of the technology to make this happen is in place right now. You can even set it up yourself with a little know how. Why isn't is readily, commercially available and ubiquitous? Think about it.
