    A few more pictures

    The "little miss" herself.

    Meeting Grandpa. Hi there!

    Gina and her newest grandchild

There has been no consoling Gina about not being able to be with Talia this time around but here, finally together, all is right.

    Hillary Scores!!!

"No way. No how. No McCain."

Hillary hits the ball out of the park,
out into the parking lot and
straight through the windshield of John McCain's SUV.

    Good Stuff!

Also, am I the only one who feels like McCain's new ad was put together by Frank Cross?
Uncertainty, Dangerous Oppression, Rouge Nations, Radicalism, Highway Killers, Acid Rain . . .
Now more than ever it is important to remember the true meaning of Christmas.
    Wait. What?

    It's a Girl!!!

    Talia just gave birth to our newest grandchild;
    Airionna Marie Lawlor.
    Mother and child are fine.
Details and many, many pictures to follow.

    Meanwhile;
Thursday night is canceled. (Sorry guys!)
Gina and I are heading down to NC tomorrow night and will be down there for a few days.

    Update: Baby Stats:
    Weight: 6lbs 10 oz
    Height: 19.75"

Michelle Obama . . . "Fight for the world as it should be."

In case you didn't see it live.

Thank you for your grace and courage.
We are with you! We are for you! We believe!
    Yes, We CAN.

Dale and Gina. We're at MD renn fair... Where are you today?

    OBAMA BIDEN 08 . . . BITCHES!!!

    This from Patrick:
"The Obama campaign text message, announcing to supporters that Biden was the running mate...

went out at 3AM. I kid you not. Fucking priceless.

The PUMAs are pitching a shit fit. Good. Maybe Axelrod or Plouffe can respond and say, 'It wasn't intended to be a deliberate snub to a pack of pathetic and selfish deadenders trolling the Internet as ratfuckers for McCain....as far as I know.'"

Good stuff! I like Biden. However I am concerned that with his long record he brings a lot of baggage to the ticket. The Republicans are going to comb through his whole life and say he said 'this' or voted for 'that' or voted against 'the other'. I also wish that Obama had maybe picked someone less conventional. For the most part though his baggage seems to compliment Obama's pretty well.

    Advancing machine intelligence

Check this slide show out and really consider what some of these advances will mean.

New terms to know "Catoms", "WREL", "brain-activity monitoring technology" and "WISP".

    Well, after a lot of thought . . . .

I have decided that I will have to formally and respectfully decline the VP position.
I know this will come as a shock to many of you, and I certainly have been flattered.
However, in the best interest of the party I think it's best if I take my name out of the running altogether. Thank you.

We now return you to your regularly scheduled reality.

    JEZZZZUSSSS, with all of this!!!!

    More pix

Here are two more I meant to post earlier from our NY trip:

    Recent Pictures

Here are a few shots from our recent outing to the PA Renaissance fair.
Perfect weather, good food and excellent drink. (They have their own brewery!)
The price however at $24.00 per person, and that's with a "discount" coupon normally it's $28.00, was a bit too high for our taste.
    Next stop Maryland Renaissance Fair.

    Sonofa . . .

Someone stole my Obama sign off of my lawn.
This was a gift and I'm really, really angry about it.

I'm going to try and get another before I go and paint the whole side of the house.

    Loss

    Robbie Greenberger

Words are too small and feeble for losses like this.

Stand by to engage the Cloaking Device.

Practical Cloaking Devices On The Horizon? from PhysOrg.com

(PhysOrg.com) -- Invisibility cloaks get a step closer to realization, with the demonstration of a new material that can bend (visible) light the 'wrong' way for the first time in three dimensions.

And we didn't even have to steal it from the Romulans.

    Technology Review: Solar-Power Breakthrough

Researchers have found a cheap and easy way to store the energy made by solar power.

I was just discussing this exact kind of multiple platform energy solution with my father two weeks ago.
